Selangor to Mandate AEDs in Public Spaces — MedikHub, MyAED4U & Mindray Support the Push for a Heart-Safe State

PETALING JAYA – The Selangor State Government is in the midst of drafting strategy guidelines to mandate the installation of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) across all public areas. This initiative is part of a broader movement to enhance emergency preparedness and cardiac arrest response statewide.

Announced by YB Jamaliah Jamaluddin, Exco of Public Health and Environment, during the Selangor Heart Safe-Mass CPR AED Training Program, the initiative aims to combine hands-on CPR education with AED accessibility, potentially saving countless lives.
